Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Consultant (SAP CO/PS) with strong expertise in SAP FICO and CRT processes to support a critical enterprise engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, issue resolution, and operational management while leveraging AI/Gen AI capabilities to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP Functional Support
  • Provide expert functional support for SAP CO (Controlling) and SAP PS (Project Systems) modules.
  • Support and maintain SAP FICO processes with a focus on business continuity and operational excellence.
  • Manage and resolve complex production issues related to CRT processes.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
• Incident & Problem Management
  • Handle critical production incidents and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business users, and technical teams for issue resolution.
• AI / Gen AI Enablement
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/Gen AI for operational efficiency and process optimization.
  • Utilize AI-powered capabilities for intelligent incident management, RCA, documentation, and knowledge management.
  • Recommend automation initiatives to improve support operations and reduce manual effort.
• Performance & Process Optimization
  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
  • Analyze system behavior and optimize business processes for better efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure best practices are followed across SAP support and operations.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Review and enhance functional and technical documentation.
  • Maintain SOPs, process documents, and knowledge repositories.
  • Prepare support documentation for future reference and audits.
• Customization & Enhancement Support
  • Support functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
  • Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams during development, testing, and deployment.
  • Validate functional solutions before production rollout.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams and business users.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer to support teams for long-term sustainability.

Required Skills

• Mandatory Skills
  • 15+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
  • Strong expertise in SAP CO (Controlling).
  • Strong expertise in SAP PS (Project Systems).
  • Extensive experience in SAP FICO.
  • Hands-on experience with CRT processes.
  • Strong production support and incident management experience.
  • Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Experience in SAP customization and enhancement support.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/Gen AI implementation or adoption within SAP environments.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted incident management and operational optimization.
• Experience with enterprise-scale SAP support engagements.
• Ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• SAP CO/PS/FICO Certification is preferred.
