Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines and models to support analytics and reporting.
• Develop Snowflake-based ELT processes to transform and standardize data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Ingest and process legacy data sources for long-term scalability.
• Utilize dbt for data transformation and documentation.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and efficiency.
• Work closely with the data team to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake and ELT patterns.
• Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Familiarity with data modeling techniques such as Kimball or star schema.
• Experience in building DAGs using Astronomer for workflow automation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or Git.
• Experience with data quality and testing frameworks.
