CERTIFICATIONS: CSM or PSM (Mandatory), PMP (Preferred)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master with strong expertise in Agile / Scrum practices and exposure to data-driven projects. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum processes, ensure predictable delivery, and maintain strong communication with US-based stakeholders. Two rounds of client discussions will be part of the selection process.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and conduct all Scrum ceremonies every two weeks.
• Responsible for capacity planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and resolving blockers.
• Take ownership to minimize spillover in sprints.
• Lead Scrum ceremonies and ensure Agile best practices are followed.
• Support multiple teams in complex delivery environments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs and define user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Track progress, risks, and metrics using JIRA.
• Facilitate communication between client stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Drive consistent, high-quality sprint outcomes.

Should Be Able To

• Manage a team size of 10 to 15 members.
• Work in the second shift and ensure timely communication via email and Mattermost.
• Communicate effectively using Data Engineering terminology; experience in Data Engineering domain and ETL pipelines.
• Understand the scope of each Tech Debt item assigned to the team in each sprint.

Required Skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
• PMP certification (preferred / required as applicable).
• Strong experience managing multiple Scrum teams.
• Proficiency in JIRA for tracking and reporting.
• Exposure to data-focused projects (Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, Cloud).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile governance and delivery frameworks.
